This day trip to Goseong includes visits to the Goseong Unification Observatory and the Gangwondo DMZ Museum along the Korean DMZ, Geonbongsa Temple, the former vacation villas of President Syngman Rhee, Kim, Il-sung and Rhee’s Vice Presidential running mate, Yi Ki Bung.

This adventure will take us southeast to North Chungcheong province, site of Gosu Cave and the beautiful Chungju Lake.

We will first visit Gosu Cave. Discovered in the 1970's, this is the best-known cave in the area, with spectacular caverns, graceful stalactites and majestic stalagmites. It is called an "underground palace" because of its breathtaking natural beauty and it has been designated as Natural Monument No. 256.
